With three bedrooms and three bathrooms Casa Caribe is a good choice for families. A guest house apartment is fully equipped and has a 4th bedroom. The pool area is perfect for barbecues, sunbathing or just floating around. And in the main house an ocean side patio and upper level terrace have a great ocean view of the waves rolling in.
Casa Caribe is a two story, walled villa offering security and privacy. The main house has 2,500 square feet of living space decorated in the Mexican Caribbean style with beautiful handcarved furniture and original artwork. Just inside, the living room is on the right and the kitchen and dining room are on the left. The dining room seats six and has windows facing both the sea and garden. The kitchen has granite tops, the basic major appliances (6 burner stove), and the essential accessories including microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc. The living room has two couches, chair and a couple side tables. There's plenty of light streaming in through windows and ocean side sliders that, when open, allow the sea breezes to circulate. The living room couches face an armoire that hides a TV, DVD, VCR and CD stereo boom-box.
Downstairs bedrooms include one with two single beds (together, can be a king), private bathroom, partial ocean view and a slider to the garden side. The other bedroom is on the other side of the lower level with one single bed and one queen size bed. It also has a private bathroom and door to the pool area, and a glass slider to the ocean side patio.
Upstairs the master bedroom suite is a L shaped room with a king bed and sitting area facing a slider that opens to a private sea side balcony/terrace. There is a tremendous closet off the bedroom and a master bathroom with tub/shower and a door to a private sea view sun deck. Nice touch!
The lower level sea side patio is furnished with table and chairs and has a partial wind break by some cocos. There's a nice view of the Caribbean surf and a path leads to the waves. On the other side, the front garden/patio/pool area has a barbecue deck gas grill, shade arbor, table and chairs, and lounge chairs. This is a place to spend plenty of time.
Casa Caribe is a wonderful home for a family or group of friends with ceiling fans throughout, air conditioned bedrooms, maid service six days a week, and a gardener/handy man at your service.
The yard and guest house/casita The front yard is fenced-in so children can play safely. Casa Caribe's separate "casita" (guest house) is off the gravel parking area and is a studio apartment with air-conditioning, kitchenette, TV, VCR, bathroom and living area. Bedding consists of a double bed and a sofa, maximum occupancy 3. There is a $150/person/week charge for the casita in order to accommodate groups larger than 6 people.
