Surrounded by palms and facing the Caribbean on Jade Bay, Casa Magica is luxuriously spacious with elegant furnishings, four superb bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, great sea side pool and sandy Jade Bay beach right in front.
Living room and kitchen The living room, kitchen and dining areas have a spacious open floor plan that allowing plenty of room for socializing. In the living room there are two wicker couches and a wicker chair piled high with pillows. A domed brick ceiling towers above the living room capped by a beautiful brick dome. Across from the living room is the formal dining room which seats eight in elegant style. And just off the dining room the fully equipped kitchen has a brick arch to nicely compliment the Mexican terra cotta tile floors which are throughout most of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with top notch appliances. There is a breakfast peninsula with bar stools for informal meals of chatting with the chef. A cook is available upon request.
Swimming pool and beach Glass doors open from the dining/living area to the beach side swimming pool and patio sun deck. Lounges are provided for sunbathing and a thatched pavilion and barbecue grill are on hand for pool side cookouts. The pool is tiled in cool blue and is very nice for a dip or float-about with your favorite beverage. The pool entry is shallow with a level area for kids. Curved sidewalks lead out from the villa's shady verandah to the beach through a grassy lawn. An exterior shower is conveniently located at the edge of the sand and the surf is just beyond. There is a sandy entrance to the bay right in front of the villa. This is the best part of Jade Bay and sea turtles love it during sea turtle nesting season.
Bedrooms and rooftop deck Again inside, the ground floor ocean side master suite is spacious and has a king bed, slider to the pool and beach, and a pool/ocean view. A private master bath has an oversized shower. Nearly identical, the upstairs master suite has a king bed, private ocean view covered terrace and a large bath with double sinks, oversized shower and Jacuzzi tub. The third bedroom also faces the sea and has a king bed, private bath and access to the 2nd, larger, oceanfront terrace. Finally, the 4th bedroom has two queen beds and a private bath. This bedroom looks out on coconut palms through panoramic windows, and it has a small private ocean view balcony. Last but not least, Casa Magica has a rooftop observation area with a spectacular panoramic view of the Caribbean. This is a great see the wide sweep of Jade Bay, stargaze in the evening or watch the twilight sky at daybreak or sunset.
Jade Bay has an outer reef break that reduces the incoming waves, providing calmer waters for snorkeling the coral heads. Central Akumal is a few minutes away by car for shopping, beach bars and all your vacation necessities.
