This is a very special place indeed, very private, and a spectacularplace to witness the Caribbean sunrise and sunset. Villa de los Sueñosis close to Yal-ku Lagoon for great snorkeling in a beautiful calm waterlagoon and the casa is also convenient to three restaurants in north Akumal.The center of town and Akumal's main beach are just a short ride down the road.
Inside Casa de los Sueños the first floor is open and spacious with colorful fabrics and furniture that reflect the culture of Mexico. A glass slider off the living room goes to the swimming pool and patio area that overlooks the Caribbean.A formal dining room is next to the living room and a fully equipped kitchenis just off the dining room. Also on the first floor is the masterbedroom with a king-size bed, built-in couch and private slider to thepool area, and the master bathroom. On the second floor, at the topof the stairs, is a family room with a TV and sofa bed. On eitherside of the family room and two more bedrooms, both with private balconiesfacing the Caribbean. To top things off, there is a wonderful observationroof area with a commanding view of the sea and north Akumal. Thisis a great place to suntan or stargaze at night.
The owner is very accommodating and typically has a few tasty treats for arriving guests to warm up their welcome. A very nice Mayan couple live in a nearby casita and maintain the pool, do the gardening and tend to the housekeeping for the casa.This is a very nice house with a warm friendly feeling to it.
