With a long 40 meter (43 yard) stretch of sand between Tanik and the Caribbean, sunbathers are assured plenty of room for their towel or lounge chair in front of this beach front condominium building on beautiful Half Moon Bay in Akumal Mexico.
These two bedroom condominiums all have central air conditioning, living room with ocean view, full kitchen and dining room that seats four. There are a total of six 2 bedroom condos. Five have two bathrooms and one has one bathroom. Two terraces for each condo have a view of the pool, Caribbean and Half Moon Bay. One balcony is accessed from the living room, the other from a bedroom. Each living room has a flat TV with SKY satellite service. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a queen bed and a single, plus table, chairs, and plenty of closet space.
This is a nice position on Half Moon Bay just south of Hacienda de las Tortugas condominiums and therefore conveniently close to La Lunita restaurant. La Caleta convenience store, La Buena Vida bar/restaurant & Akumal Dive Adventuras dive shop are all a short walk to the south. Within walking distance to the north is Que Onda Italian restaurant and Yal ku lagoon. Yal ku lagoon is also very popular for snorkeling in calm water on windy days, but the snorkeling in Half Moon Bay directly in front of Tanik is actually more convenient and better than Yal ku.
About a mile down the road is central Akumal with a full array of services including: two grocery stores, restaurants, beach bar, gift shops, dive shops, money exchange, car rental, adventure tour excursions and more.
