Hotel Las Nubes de Holbox is a wonderful little discovery, literally right on the Gulf of Mexico and at the end of the widest portion of Isla Holbox's main beach. From here it's an easy beach walk to town center where you can discover laid back Holbox Island. Holbox is part of the Yum Balam "Protected Area", home to many local and migratory species including: marine sea turtles, pink flamingos, white pelicans, iguanas, crabs, dolphins, rays, etc. Isla Holbox is famous for its tours to see whale sharks who feed offshore during the mid summer.
