With its eight bedrooms and deluxe amenities Casas del Sol Altavista is a fine choice for a family beach vacation. And for even larger groups, family reunions or special events it can be reserved with its sister villa next door, Casas del Sol Vista, to accommodate up to 32 people in 16 bedrooms!
Upon entering the entrance foyer opens to a sitting area with a stairway up to the main living space and a hallway on the right leading to four of the villa's eight bedrooms. Because Casas del Sol Altavista is built on an incline its entry is on the middle level of the home, with four bedrooms on that level and four more bedrooms downstairs. A stairwell on the side provides access to all areas, plus the rooftop solarium and swimming pool. In the back of the villa is a furnished patio for the lower level bedrooms, and two balcony terraces; one for the middle level bedrooms and one for the main living space.
The main living spaces is a tremendous open room with two couch furnished living spaces, an entertainment area, pool table, dining room with 16 chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. All is top notch with granite counter tops in the kitchen, plus an island, compliment of kitchen accessories, utensils, place settings, etc.
All eight bedrooms are air conditioned and have a ceiling fan, SKY satellite TV, bathroom with shower, iPod dock / alarm clock radio, safe box. Each has access to an exterior terrace or patio via an interior hallway and the stairwell.
Thee rooftop ocean view solarium/pool area is furnished for sunbathing or entertaining. The pool is shallow, great for kids, and the rooftop is wonderful at daybreak, sunset, or in the evening for stargazing.
The beach is just one door away, a couple minutes walk from the villa and it is wide and wonderful. Playacar beach is a semi-private beach since the development is gated. If you wish you can stroll the beach into central Playa del Carmen in about 10 minutes. Playacar Phase 1 is a great location, private yet close to all the best Playa del Carmen has to offer.
