This hotel is a great find with 34 spacious air conditioned rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms, comfortable beds, ceiling fan, AC, cable TV and telephone. Hacienda del Caribe's three levels allows some of the rooms to overlook the interior courtyard from a private balcony, and others to have private balconies overlooking Calle 2, with a distant angled view of the sea. All the rooms are accessed from the hotel's interior courtyard balconies, one on each level.
Rooms are offered as either single rooms with one king size bed, double rooms with two queen size beds or two double beds, or suites with two king size beds. The suites have an additional spacious interior sitting area as well, some with a sleeper futon style sofa. All rooms have a private bathroom and most have a private balcony that overlooks the Calle 2 or the internal courtyard.
This location on Calle 2 norte between 10th and 5th Avenues, is perfect for strolling Quinta Avenida (5th Av.) and its many restaurants, gift shops, adventure tour operators, etc. Playa del Carmen's central zocalo and the ferry dock to Cozumel is less than a 5 minute walk away, and the beach is just a couple minutes away for plenty of sun and fun, beach bars and restaurants, right on the sand by the Caribbean. Hotel Hacienda del Caribe is one of the best deals in town due to its convenient location, reasonable prices, friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.
