Xcalacoco beach is just a few kilometers north of Playa del Carmen; far enough away to escape the noise yet close enough to be right in the thick of things in just a few minutes. Le Reve hotel is the antithesis of the mega all inclusive resort; a tranquil beach front hotel to escape the hustle, soak up the sun, splash in the pool and forget about your other life.
The rooms all have individually controlled air conditioning, a nicely equipped private bathroom with shower, mini bar, phone, security safe, and either a terrace or patio/deck. The beach front bungalows have a wooden shade/sun deck and private infinity edge pool facing the sea. The master suites are on the top level and have the largest terrace, and an ocean view. The Horizon suites are on the middle (2nd) level and have an ocean view. Garden view suites have a private Roman bath plunge pool on their patios. Garden view and Horizon suites each have a queen bed, and the Bungalows and Master suites each have a king bed. The amenities for each room type are listed farther down the page. Regardless of which room type you select, all are just a few steps from the main pool, restaurant, bar and beach.
The Spa suites (formerly Garden view suites) have a yoga mat, selection of yoga music, iPod, aromatherapy menu, pillows menu, Spa services menu, massage accessories, and a vegetarian breakfast (full or light version). Also, the Spa room and the Master suite can accommodate a third person on a roll away bed that can be brought in. All the other rooms sleep only 2 people.
There is a gym with exercise equipment including cardiovascular machines and some free weights. And you can enjoy a relaxing massage in front of the sea.
Special occasions at Hotel Le Reve can be arranged where the entire hotel is reserved, subject to availability. Hotel Le Reve is a very nice venue for yoga groups, anniversary and reunion gatherings, and weddings. Please inquire for more information on group packages.
