Playacar beaches - Next to Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Starting on the south side of the ferry dock to Cozumel in Playa del Carmen, this stretch of beach is pure sand and fluctuates in size seasonally. It is mostly private, reserved for guest renting condos, beach houses, and staying in all-inclusive resorts in Playacar (of which there are many). This is a gorgeous beach in calm weather, but a bit of a challenge (like they all are) when it's windy and the waves get big.
