Another world awaits you below the cobalt blue waves of the Caribbean; one of weightless beauty filled with warm clear water, beautiful reefs, colorful tropical fish and sea turtles.
What is SCUBA?
SCUBA equipment is Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. It consists of a tank filled with compressed air and a regulator that lets you breathe that air underwater. SCUBA diving is easy to do.
Just want to TRY SCUBA diving first?
No problem. The RESORT COURSE will let you see what SCUBA diving is like. An instructor will show you in a pool or chest deep water how the equipment works, and the basic skills. If you like it you can go on a Discovery dive with the instructor.
Learning to SCUBA dive - certification
The Open Water Diver course is part theory and part actual diving. The theory can be done in a classroom or online. And the practice diving is usually done in a swimming pool. Once all that is complete you will go on four certification dives where you will show your instructor what you have learned and tour around underwater.
SNUBA diving does not involving wearing tanks underwater. Instead there is a hose from the surface that pipes air down to you. People love SNUBA! Very little training is required.
Cavern diving is SCUBA diving inside a flooded cavern where daylight from the sun is still visible. Only certified SCUBA divers with a "C" card are allowed to cavern dive. To learn to cavern dive autonomously a sanctioned Cavern course must be taken. To experience a cavern dive an open water certified SCUBA divers can go on a tour with a qualified guide.
Cave diving is SCUBA diving into areas of a flooded cave where no sunlight can be seen. Cave diving requires special training and equipment. There is no "tour option" to experience cave diving.
