Sol Caribe is a small, casual and relaxed beachfront resort on the Mexican Caribbean, with a variety of accommodation on offer. All our cabanas and suites feature large individual rooms, bathrooms and showers with hot and cold running water, and 24-hour electricity. Each cabana and suite also feature a private deck with an outdoor table, lounge chairs and hammocks.
Sol Caribe's outstanding culinary tradition is known for miles around. Their new Argentinean chef Mauricio Riba, famous up and down the Riviera Maya, will ensure you leave with an unforgettable experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at our beach front restaurant and bar, where you can now enjoy your margarita on the outdoor deck with an unspoiled view of the seascape. Special dietary requests and meal preferences can be honoured with adequate notice. Fresh seafood is plentiful as Punta Allen, our local fishing village, is just 5 miles south. Naturally, our restaurant features great Mexican cuisine -- as well as Argentinian, Italian and, of course, North American!
The Beach Cabaña is the most exclusive cabaña, very private and opening directly onto the beach, with a King sized bed, spacious interiors, private decks and hammocks. It is perfect for a couple, sleeping two, but can also comfortably accommodate a third person on a single bed.
The Jungle Cabaña is set back slightly in the jungle and over two floors, is ideal for families with children, or groups travelling together. The ground floor has a King sized bed and the upper floor has two double beds in spacious surroundings. It comfortable sleeps 4-6 people. The two floors can also be let separately, as both have a private entrance. From the balconies you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and jungle canopy surrounding the resort.
There are three Beach Suites on the ground floor of a separate villa, opening directly into the sand, with two double beds. Each with a hammock, chairs and deck, and views onto the Caribbean.
On the upper floor of the villa, there are two Loft Suites, each sleeping 2-4 people, with a King size and a single bed. Each with a hammock, chairs and deck, and stunning views onto the Caribbean Sea.
Towels, linens and beach towels are all provided, as is maid service. With adequate lead time, it is possible to book the whole resort for special occasions such as weddings or family gatherings. The rate for a third person in the room, including a child, is US$30 per night.
