This is a house where you can relax on the beach, by the pool or up on the roof to drink in the magnificent view of the Caribbean and Soliman Bay. From the pool a winding gravel path leads around the side of the house to the sea where there are a few coconut palms, an exterior shower, and just beyond that the beach and beautiful Soliman Bay.
Inside Tres Delfines you definitely get the feeling you are staying in someone's home. There are so many personal touches to make you feel welcome and relaxed, like the beautiful sea shell collection framed as pictures lining the stairway to the second floor. There is a softness and sensitivity here that transcends the normal tropical vacation rental, and part of it is due to the general tranquility of lovely Soliman Bay. The second floor sun deck and the roof have a panoramic view of the Bay, especially toward the north since the house is more toward the south end of the bay.
Bedrooms, interior & exterior Tres Delfines has four bedrooms, three on the first floor and one upstairs, with a maximum sleeping capacity of eight people. Two bedrooms on the first floor share a bathroom and the other has a private bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a suite on the second level with a magnificent elevated sea view and large open-air terrace. Another stairway goes up to the peak observatory deck for a 360º panoramic view of the Caribbean and jungle. Back down at sea level a full kitchen has all the essentials and a cook can be arranged if so desired. Outside, a built-in barbecue grill is on the pool side of the house for cookouts around the pool. For your entertainment a stereo/CD and Direct TV satellite system is provided as well as a telephone for local calls (some charges may apply). One enjoyable way to pass the time is to take the house kayak out for a spin in the Bay. Soliman Bay is wide and interesting, great for snorkeling in calm waters. An outer reef break reduces the surf and provides refuge for sea turtles and a wide variety of fish.
Nearby Roughly 10 minutes south is the Pueblo of Tulum and 15 minutes north the town of Akumal. Both have shopping, restaurants, beaches and many tourist services. The ruins of Tulum are a must see.
