If you've ever stayed or visited Zama's on Tulum beach now you can rent a house owned by them, just across the street and 100 meters from the hotel/ restaurant. The view is terrific and the beach is right there when you roll out of bed. If you want "room service" just let them know and they'll hook you up for a few pesos more.
Zama's Que Fresco bar/restaurant is well known for great dining, especially seafood brought in fresh daily right off the beach [plus other exotics from their suppliers]. Looking out to sea from under the big restaurant palapa is almost mandatory on any trip to Tulum beach.
The house is a beach bohemian's dream decked out with funky furnishings, a swirly Mexican Caribbean paint job, colorful tile and all the kicked-back style Tulum beach is famous for. These guy have been here a long time and know how to decorate. If you're looking for slick chrome and vinyl don't come here. This is a cool spot to hang your hat for a week or so. Something to daydream about when you get home.
