The rooms are full of personality with charming, colorful decor and all the conveniences you're likely to need. Each has its own personality with either a terrace or patio, just a few step from the beach. Accommodation #8 Querencia has full kitchen facilities with a pine dining table and chairs. In the spacious living room you'll find a plushly upholstered banquette and attractive local Mexican furniture. Set within the wall behind a set of carved hacienda doors you'll find a fold-down Swedish crafted double bed that doesn't usurping your living space during the day. By day, sunlight bursts through fresh curtained windows from a private balcony. The Caribbean is just beyond. Sleeps 2-5 people.
Accommodation #4 Oceano has a beach front balcony with a perfect view of the night skies. From your window you'll watch the Southern Cross rise out of the sea in the southeast during the month of June. At that time Robert will show you the spectacle of seeing both the North Star and the Southern Cross, simply magical. Through curtains of white cotton, the air is filled with seashore scents. Oceano is one of our favorite spaces. Laze on the balcony over the ocean with sun-dappled fingers of light peeking through the overhead "bajareque" shade arbor. Sleeps 2 people.
Kitchen #3 Cocina This is where you can prepare your own meals, try your culinary skills with those strange looking fruits you just bought from Chip's grocery truck (Tues-Fri-Sunday). The refrigerator is filled with ice, and stocked with sodas and local Yucatan beers delivered to us by Chetumal bottling companies. There's a stove and oven with cooking pots and pans. You'll find an interesting array of staples like salt, pepper, various spices, rice, beans, pasta, cans of tuna, peanut butter, olive oil, milk and yogurt. In the pine cabinets are fiesta colored dinnerware for 8 or more, cups, glasses, utensils, French coffee press, teakettle, paper towels and napkins. Breakfast is complimentary. Granola with hand cut Mexican dried fruits, yogurt and fresh ground Chiapas Highlands coffee.
Accommodation #7 Bailando The Master bedroom affords elegance and privacy. Enjoy the whim and fancy of Mexican ritual art masks. The kitchen, living and dining areas have been cleverly and efficiently designed so you'll feel special and at home. A Swedish crafted in wall bed pulls down in the living room to provide night time comfort, and create space for daytime dalliances in this unique accommodation. Step through the curtain framed sliding glass window onto your private patio. Sleeps 2 people.
Accommodation #5 Laguna The Laguna room has doubled in size. There is a private deck, king bed or three singles, and hacienda style furniture. Also enjoy a private bath with stone tiled shower. This room is a place for never ending sunsets and painted skies. Sleeps 2-3 people.
