Our friends with kids that stay in Playa del Carmen during their vacations swear by this playground located just off 5th Avenue near the ADO station. The playground is located right under the new statue on the beach and just behind the small chapel at the end of Avenida Juarez. Parents and children alike find this centrally located park with a glorious seaview a life saver and great meeting place while on vacation. Our friends found it to be a wonderful ritual for the kids while they were out of thier ‘regular’ routine and met other parents with small children who shared ideas and travel tips. The fruit ladies are located just behind the park so a snack is with in reach and just 20 pesos per very large serving!
