Dual glass sliders open the living space to the lovely swimming pool and the smooth limestone pool deck. This is a little oasis of peace and total relaxation. Don’t even think about it…book now! Casa San Francisco is so beautiful and peaceful. Our hosts made us feel like home. The house is spacious, well maintained and you are right at the beach. White sand beaches are 10 min away…and drive from Cancun Airport was easy.

What can we say? This was an amazing rental. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The setting is exceptionally beautiful. The house staff was so easy to work with and so accommodating. All of their assistance was so helpful and so well thought out. We had a wonderful time and we were so sad to leave. Thank you.

The house and location were great. Taxis are expensive (to go 1.1 miles was $25 USD one way!) The pool isn’t heated so if it hasn’t been warm enough to heat it up it is COLD! I would stay here again as the staff and house were great! I would look for a closer location given the high costs of taxis.

Es war alles bestens, einzig das WiFi war defekt. Wir bekamen zwar ein alternatives, das hat aber leider nicht zufriedenstellend funktioniert.
Empfehlen können wir auch das Kochservice von Noemi und Jorge! Es war köstlich!
Sollten wir nochmals in die Region kommen, ist Casa San Francisco unsere erste Wahl für‘s Wohnen.

Beautiful rental within walking distance of Akumal!

You can walk to Akumal along the beach, about a 20 minute walk....during daylight hours. We arranged for the management to make us 2 meals a day and I would highly recommend it! All meals were delicious and very, very reasonable. We did taxi into town a few nights for dinner at La Buena Vida which was also wonderful, but the taxi rides are NOT inexpensive so renting a car would be a great idea. We had beautiful sunny days with a bit of wind. Pool area will be shaded for most of afternoon but there is full sun along with beach chairs up on top for sun lovers. Rooms were VERY clean and it was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 small children. Kayaks are there to use and lots of beach toys for the kids too. There are also snorkels and the snorkling is fantastic, no need to go into town for that, you can do it right there at the property. The cenote jungle was a great attraction, near the town of Akumal. SO quiet, peaceful and beautiful. But again you will need to taxi there if you don't have a car. A few of us went to the golf course is right across the street from the property. I can't think of anything about this property that I would not recommend. Truly 5 star!

This was my first VRBO experience and it definitely exceeded our expectations. There's nothing at all that I could find fault with. It was actually a perfect size for 10 of us and the home was equipped with everything we needed. The food and our chefs were amazing. Even on a night when there was a big strom and half our block lost electricity for the evening ours, they utilized all their resources to make our last night (even celebrating a birthday for one of our group) spectacular. They were just incredible. All correspondence from beginning to end was wonderful. Our home caretaker was just delightful! The only one thing which has nothing to do with the home, is make sure you carry cash. That was a little bit of a hindrance as many things were cash only.

The villa is spotless and has everything you want or need. The staff was wonderful and we had dinner prepared 4 of our seven nights. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The house manager was great and had a wealth of knowledge about the area. It was a little windy but other than that the weather was perfect.

Great property with everything you need, super clean, can't beat the location as it's right on the beach in a very safe area. Definitely enjoyed using the kayaks on the bay. There is an excellent restaurant walking distance. The staff was super nice and management communication was perfect. Lovely house on the beach and very comfortable. Great location to explore Akumul, Talum and Playa del Carmen. Property description and warning of excessive seaweed was accurate, Management company was great and responsive. Welcome dinner by chef was excellent and highly recommend others to do.
I wish the kitchen was stocked better with more pitchers (bought one for house), non-stick pan, baking sheet, containers with lids for leftovers, and spices. The housekeepers took the kitchen hand towels away for two days and had to use paper towels, hot and cold water was not reliable... no cold water in main floor bedroom shower, burnt out light in casita bathroom. Can you add in instructions where the light switch for the pool is located, did not find until last day. Would have also liked more than two towels per bathroom. Make sure you bring your own shampoo and soap.. they provide hand soap.

Casa San Francisco provides everything you could want for a casual, relaxing stay in a safe neighborhood right on the beach. The house is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were really friendly and responsive. Our group of extended family spent a great week at Casa San Francisco, including daily swimming in the pool or at the beach in front prof the house or both. As long as you have swim shoes (there are rocks) you can swim out directly from the beach in front of the house and snorkel amidst colorful fish.

The town of Akumal is less than 10 minutes away by car, and has a fully stocked grocery store, as well as several excellent restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind away from the party/hotel scene of Cancún and Playa del Carmen, this is a perfect spot.

We had the best vacation at Casa San Francisco and can't wait to book again! The house and property are accurately pictured in the listing and the home is well-maintained. The property manager Guille could not have been more genuine and helpful and we enjoyed our conversations with her throughout the week so much. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing vacation in the quiet part of Rivera Maya. We loved everything about the place and felt secure in the gated community with security that walked the beach regularly. Pictures and descriptions are accurate, property was clean and the manager/caretakers were awesome. You definitely need a car if you stay here.

Let me start by saying that the staff here is amazing! They do a great job with everything! Cleaning, cooking, and laundry was all just top notch. They are very hard working and just pleasant to be around, so don’t forget to tip them before you go. They deserve every bit of it. The house is gorgeous and the pool and ocean view is fabulous. We stayed in July 2020. Directly on the beach, the home contains five air-conditioned, large bedrooms each with an en-suite: first floor-two twin beds and one day sofa; second floor-three bedrooms with king beds; casita -queen bed.
The kitchen is small but well stocked with appliances, dishes, and utensils. The living and dining room are adequate size. There is a TV in the LR. There is a pool outside the back. There are also kayaks available to take into the water.
The house has a manager, a maid, and an outside caretaker. They work everyday except Sundays.The caretaker and his wife double as the chefs should you wish them to prepare any meals.We had 4 dinners prepared that were local cooking and extremely delicious. You pay them for their shopping and for their service. We highly recommend them.
We were able to find a snorkeling tour, as well as, a fishing tour. There are a few restaurants open nearby that serve delicious Mexican food. There is a Walmart on the way from the airport where we stopped. There are also small stores in the neighborhood.

She is knowledgeable about the area and can arrange many activities as long as they are open in this COVID time. The maid is nonintrusive and very efficient. She will do your laundry for a fee. The caretaker arrives early to prepare the pool and grounds areas.The house is in a small beachfront, gated community with a security guard that walks the beach. The wi-if worked well for us.
