The Palm At Playa
Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, on 8th street between 5th and 10th Avenues. The Palm at Playa roof offers a quiet ambiance in the mornings/afternoons and upbeat nights for the younger. The facilities are impeccable, a friendly service all day long and the most gorgeous pool and Jacuzzi. Plenty of space to gaze upon the views of the ocean and Cozumel island. Day pass is offered and especial rates depending on your consumption. Everything is decorated in white and light blue colors to keep the ocean vibe alive. Menu is wonderful with a few options for different needs. Vegan and Vegetarian options are also offered. One of our favorite things besides the service, is the amazing views of the Ocean and sunsets.
Be Roof
Located on 10th Avenue and 26th street. One of the highlights of this place is their sushi menu. A wide variety of rolls including vegan and vegetarian options. Anything you order at the restaurant can be brought up to the roof. And the bar tenders will prepare any cocktail you request at the pool bar. In the afternoons you can enjoy of live acoustic music. Sometimes is Jazz, sometimes is romantic ballads depending on the day of the week. Our favorite day is Friday because of the acoustic nights. Be Roof is open from 10:00am to midnight, and house cocktails start at 7:00pm. Your estimate rate per person can be around $300.00 pesos per person, depending on your consumption. The pool is not as big as in other roof tops, but the service is excellent and the place is quiet and relaxing.
Deck 5 Pool & Sky Bar
From all three roof tops, this one would be the favorite for teens and younger crowds. Music is mainly delivered by a DJ, and the rest of the times there is disco music played. This roof is located on 8th street and the beach, right in Playa del Carmen city. They are open from 1:00pm to 9:00pm. There are daily dancers around the pool which delivers more of a “pool party” vibe. There is a minimum consumption to occupy the pool beds. But you can purchase a bottle of alcohol for all the group. The views are spectacular and the place is well kept. Always clean and staff is very friendly. Bar tender contests are arranged on Sundays and pool parties every Saturday. They currently have 7 HD big screens to enjoy of the World Cup 2018 or any other big sport games.
