Good location on Half Moon Bay with an awesome coffee place across the street. The unit is spacious and super clean and was cleaned every morning. The unit is dated and could use a refresh but overall it worked well for two people.

It was our second time in Akumal, but our first time at Hacienda de la Tortuga. We had a perfect time! The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and comfortable. We got lucky and there was no sargassum and we snorkeled every day right in front of the condo. It was perfect! We hope to return next year! Thank you for everything!

A wonderfully blissful place for a vacation. The property was beautiful, the snorkeling stellar, and the staff are all friendly and excellent at what they do. Sure, some reviewers have pointed out a few minor spots in need of updating, but you'd have to really really hate the ocean and look for something to complain about, since the entire condo has a view of the ocean (with exception of a guest room.)

Couldn’t have asked for a better place: quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable with the loveliest staff. We didn’t need to rent a car as everything was right there: best food in Akumal at the restaurant downstairs on the beach, across the street a new coffee shop with amazing breakfast and lunch, and the beach right out the door. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in a relatively quiet area of the Riviera Maya. Steps from the beach, well-equipped condo, great snorkeling, good restaurants nearby - this property has everything we were looking for. Doable without a car, but having one was definitely helpful for groceries, exploring, etc.

We slept each night to the sound of the ocean breeze , and our good fortune was being able to eat nightly in the best restaurant of Akumal just downstairs. Everyone was polite and friendly, respectful re: Covid precautions- our first trip since the start of the pandemic. The town Dr. made house calls so we didn’t even have to fuss about getting tested prior to coming home. This was a perfect trip and just what we needed.
